Masjid banyak duit. Tetapi pengurusan masjid, buat duit masjid macam duit mereka sendiri. Kes curi RM2.00 dari tabung masjid, alih-alih kena penjara. Mungkin yang melidi duit tabung tu dalam kesempitan sangat.

Aku pernah masuk gereja dekat komplek Asia Jaya. Ada kotak transparent atas meja. Ada buku catitan sebelah kotak. Dalam kotak tak bertutup ada banyak duit macam² note.

Aku belek buku. Lima ruang utk diisi. Tarikh, Nama, no tel, jumlah, catitan.

Berbagai kaum punya nama ada dan memang aku mencari nama Melayu. Jumpa beberapa nama siap nombor talipon. Salah satu nama lelaki ambil rm50 utk beli susu anak.

Aku call no yg dicatat. Sembang bbrp minit. Baru kena berhenti kerja jaga masa tu.
"Dah jumpa pak imam masjid. Kena buat surat ke bendahari. Bendahari pula suruh gi pejabat zakat. Sampai pejabat zakat kena isi itu ini. Entah bila pula nak dapat. Kawan india suruh pi gereja. Boleh terus ambik kemudian baru tulis nama.
Saya pun pergi tempat tu dgn dia."

Kenapa encik ambik RM50 je. Bukan ada orang jaga pun?

"Entahlah. Tapi walaupun takde orang jaga tapi Allah nampak walaupun dalam gereja. Niat saya memang nak beli susu anak dan sikit untuk tambang pusing2 cari kerja."

Terdiam aku sekejap. Lepas tu encik?

"Saya terus pergi beli susu anak dan balik rumah dgn nasi bungkus makan lima beranak. Pagi esok gereja talipon dan lepas tu saya pun dapat kerja jadi jaga di gereja tu. Takpa la asal tak mencuri."

Aku langsung teringat pada sorang pakcik yg sedang ronda tempat parking masa tu.

Encik masih kerja di situ?

"Dak dah. Saya dah balik kampung ni. Gereja bagi modal. La ni saya meniaga gerai makan"


Masjid patut boleh buat lebih baik dari gereja. Jangan bangga dengan jumlah terkumpul RM ratusan ribu tp ahli qariah ada yg dapur tak berasap!

Renungkan:
1) kutipan setiap jumaat yg tercatat ratusan hingga ribuan RM.
2) kemana aliran kewangannya utk kebajikan ahli qariah?
3) tidak cukup hanya bendahari..siapa audit yg btauliah utk kewangan masjid?
4) adakah di masjid tersedia satu biro khas yg mengaudit ahli qariah fakir, miskin, ibu tunggal, dll??..memang benar data yg ada di majlis agama, pusat zakat dan pusat kebajikan masyarakat itu ada, tp data itu tlalu umum..sepatutnya masjid yg punya sumber sumbangan tetap tiap minggu perlu lebih prihatin dlm menjaga kebajikan ahli qariah.

Didoakn smg dgn adanya masjid² yg aktif dlm menjaga kebajikan ahli qariahnya smg hati masyarakat lebih dekat dgn masjid yg ad layanannya mesranya cukup lumayan.

JAWI dah hilang taring

PETALING JAYA: Tiga remaja perempuan bertudung yang terbabit dalam kontroversi aksi sumbang di konsert kumpulan K-Pop, B1AF baru-baru ini mungkin terlepas daripada dikenakan tindakan apabila Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (Jawi) memutuskan untuk tidak mengeluarkan waran tangkap ke atas mereka.

Minggu lalu, Pengarah Jawi, Paimuzi Yahya dilaporkan sebagai berkata, waran tangkap melalui perintah mahkamah akan dikeluarkan sekiranya ketiga-tiga wanita berkenaan tidak tampil memberikan kerjasama selepas diberi tempoh seminggu.

Bagaimanapun, sumber Jawi memberitahu mStar Online, jabatan itu memutuskan untuk tidak memanjangkan perkara tersebut apabila sehingga ke hari ini ketiga-tiga remaja berkenaan masih belum tampil untuk membantu siasatan.

"Kita sudah memberi mereka tempoh selama seminggu untuk tampil membantu siasatan. Tetapi sehingga ke hari ini mereka tidak berbuat demikian.

“Selepas berbincang, kita putuskan untuk tidak mengenakan waran tangkap ke atas mereka. Tetapi kita secara terbuka bersedia untuk memberi khidmat nasihat dan kaunseling kepada mereka,” katanya.

Menurut sumber Jawi lagi, ketiga-ketiga remaja berkenaan mungkin mendapat nasihat daripada pihak lain berikutan insiden yang mencetuskan kontroversi itu.

Aksi pelukan dan ciuman antara ahli kumpulan K-Pop dari Korea Selatan bersama tiga peminat wanita Islam ketika berada di atas pentas konsert di Kuala Lumpur, baru-baru ini mencetuskan kecaman pelbagai pihak terutama umat Islam.

Jawi sebelum ini telah membuka kertas siasatan siasatan berhubung isu tersebut telah dibuka di bawah Seksyen 29 Kesalahan Jenayah Syariah (Wilayah-Wilayah Persekutuan) 1977 (Akta 559) Perbuatan Tidak Sopan Di Tempat Awam.

Jika disabitkan bersalah, mereka boleh didenda tidak melebihi RM1,000 atau penjara tidak melebihi enam bulan atau kedua-duanya sekali.

After ‘molest’ uproar, US mum takes up cudgel for K-pop band in online blitz

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 14 — Enraged by molest allegations in Malaysia against her favourite K-pop artists, a 45-year-old mother of three in Georgia in the United States has started an online campaign to defend South Korean band B1A4.

Of her own volition, Heidi Lyon, a translation editor for Korean dramas, kicked off the campaign Monday from her blog, urging fellow K-pop fans to help stop the spread of articles and videos of the group allegedly molesting several Malay girls during a recent mini-concert here.

“Removing the more harmful articles and videos was important. I think the main objective was to keep the four female fans that went on stage, as well as B1A4, protected from as much backlash as possible,” she told Malay Mail Online via email.

In her blog page, Lyon asked all B1A4 fans or “BANAs” as they call themselves, to email all administrators of websites and blogs with articles claiming the popular K-pop boys had molested their fans onstage.

She also urged the BANAs to claim that the articles are defamatory in nature that that they have resulted in death threats.

To date, Lyon said her blog post has received more than 2,000 hits and was being spread through other B1A4 and K-pop fan pages.

“The response on my end has been great. We were able to remove some videos and articles.

“We’re still working on some, or at least changing the title of the articles, to be less inflammatory about the situation,” Lyon said.

“Now the WM Entertainment and TGM Events have both issued statements, things are starting to quiet down a bit.

“We will work behind the scenes to try and improve the information that is out there without being ‘keyboard warriors’ that simply attack without benefit to anyone,” she added.

Since Lyon’s blog post titled “Call to Arms for B1A”, Malay Mail Online has received a barrage of emails from BANAs urging for the removal of articles accusing B14A of molest.

The emails follow the template provided by Lyon in her blog, which accuses media organisations of unethical reporting.

“As you know, not all Muslims hold strictly to the physical touch laws in their religion. Others are forcing their opinions and beliefs on everyone involved and have caused them all problems.

“While I understand a desire to report relevant stories and news, this is neither. It is, however, hurting both the girls involved in the story and the kpop singers. Death threats have been issued and it is rumoured one of the girls has been hospitalised,” the emails say.

Lyon said that she heard about the incident from BANAs in Malaysia who went to her, ostensibly in tears, to seek comfort as they saw her as an aunt or mom.

“I talked with them for hours to try and calm them down. That’s how I originally found out what happened and, after my friends translated some of the articles and comments to me, I felt something needed to be done. I just wanted to reach as many as possible to try and help,” she said.

Prior to this, B1A4, which she insists is an innocent group, has not had to deal with any major controversy, despite having done the same things in other fan meets.

A video of the K-pop band cosying up with the Malay girls during the mini-concert went viral on Sunday night, garnering thousands of Facebook shares and comments ranging from anger and indignance to amusement.

The 3.21 minute-long video had been uploaded on the Sukan Star TV Facebook page with the suggestive title “Perempuan melayu dicabul atas pentas oleh mat kpop semalam” (Malay girls molested on stage by K-Pop artists last night) .

In the video, three K-pop stars from the group were seen interacting with three Malay fans on stage, with one of the artists hugging a fan from the back.

Despite the clip’s title, however, the fans were seen smiling and laughing and later hugged the artist back after turning to face him.

Lyon claimed that the comments on social media have weighed heavily on the fans, some as young as 14, and many were distressed by the harsh reaction to what was meant to be clean fun.

“There were comments said these girls should be identified and stoned to death, others that said if B1A4 ever came to Malaysia again, they were risking their lives, and more,” she said, adding that she herself had received a death threat after posting the campaign.

“I spoke in length with many of my Muslim friends to find out what exactly what could be viewed as wrong and why. I learned that many Muslim girls wear the hijab because family makes them, or because it’s tradition,” she said.

“The only thing we hoped to gain, or at least me personally, was that the boys and girls that went on stage were not harmed by this incident,” said Lyon.

Malaysia’s religious authorities are currently investigating the incident under local Islamic laws and have called the Malay girls in the video to come forward for the probe.

They are said to have violated Section 29 of the Shariah Criminal Offences (Federal Territories) Act 1997, which allows for a fine of up to RM1,000 and imprisonment of no more than six months upon conviction.

A popular Malaysian Facebook page has taken a dig at the Malay girls who were embraced by K-pop artistes at a concert – by comparing their alleged lack of honour to the more “honourable” Muslim women taking up arms in Syria.

Sukan Star TV, which has 1 million likes, posted a comic strip yesterday glorifying women fighting in Syria, as opposed to the girls who were hugged and kissed by members of the B1A4 band during a meet-the-fan session on Saturday.The first panel of the comic strip uploaded by Sukan Star TV reveals a niqab-wearing woman holding a firearm on her shoulder, with a caption that states: “Di Aleppo Syria, wanita menjaga maruah mereka dan turut sama mengangkat senjata mempertahankan Islam.” (In Aleppo Syria, women protect their honour and also take up arms to defend Islam.)

The second panel reveals a tudung-clad girl grinning as a man hugs her from behind, with the caption: “Sementara di Malaysia... Mereka merelakan maruah mereka diratah di atas pentas.” (While in Malaysia... they allow their honour to be destroyed on stage).

The artwork is signed off by “nabil’s art”. It is unclear whether the artist is affiliated with the page, but the post has received over 14,000 likes and 572 comments since it was uploaded yesterday.Sukan Star TV had first sparked the K-pop controversy after it uploaded a 3.20-minute clip titled “Perempuan melayu dicabul atas pentas oleh mat kpop semalam” (Malay girls molested on stage by K-pop men last night) on Sunday.The video soon became viral, as thousands of angry Facebook users shared and commented over how the “stupid” girls had “shamed” Islam.

The comic Sukan Star TV shared yesterday of the Syrian fighter was met with more vitriol as Facebook users condemned the K-pop fans for “selling their dignity”. 

Facebook user Azmer Fikri wrote: “Mak bapak tak ajar pg sekolah agama sbb tu tak tau hukum kesian. pakai tudung tp perangai bohsia” (Their parents did not send them to religious school that’s why they don’t know the religious rules, pity them. They wear the tudung but they act like prostitutes).

“Minah tu pakai tudung utk cover love bite je kot,” suggested Aizad Amrom Hakim. (The girls probably wear tudung just to cover their love bites.)

Eiyn Zul wrote in the comments hoping that God would strike down more disasters to teach the “cheap K-pop girls” a lesson. 

Muhammad Fadhil Roslizan commented: “Agak2 peminat kpop ni kalo mamat korea ajak tidor sekatil diorang nak tak? *ni soalan bukan tuduhan*” (Do you think these K-pop fans would say yes if a Korean guy invited them to sleep in the same bed? *this is a question not an accusation*)

The Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) had said it would haul up the event organisers of the mini-concert, saying that it was a shameful act for the artistes to hug and embrace the tudung-clad Malay girls.It would also apply for an arrest warrant if the girls refused to cooperate with their investigation, Jawi director Paimusi Yahya told Utusan Malaysia. – January 14, 2015.
